    US Congressional High School Art Competition


    Matthew Montoya and Christopher Gonzalez are pictured with AUSD Board Vice President, Yolanda Rodriguez-Peňa. This local congressional art competition featured 75 entries. Christopher's piece, "Portrait of xxxTentacion," earned him a 2nd place top finalist, while Matthew's piece, "Eyes of the West," earned a 3rd place top finalist. Congratulations to both students! Their pieces, along with others from schools in AUSD, will be featured at the AUSD 2nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition on May 22nd in the D Gallery.

    Once again - GHS lands on the list of US News and World Report of Report for BEST HIGH SCHOOLS IN AMERICA in 2019. This is the 2nd year in a row for our school. This is the result of all the effort we have made to make students a priority. Our team accomplished this and we should be proud!
